Prop. 115: Help Us Promote the Dignity of Life!

Proposition 115 will be on this November’s ballot for the state of Colorado. This is an incredibly important time for Catholics to reaffirm the dignity of life.

An estimated 64% of babies born at 22 weeks in the U.S. survive with “active NICU treatment,” according to a report in The Federalist.

Life is a preeminent issue within the Catholic church and Catholic Coloradans have the responsibility to vote Yes on Proposition 115, which bans abortion in Colorado after 22 weeks (with an exception for life of the mother).
St. Peter’s has put together a Prop. 115 Committee to spread the word within our parish and our community! We have ongoing events planned during the month of October but need your support through prayer, evangelization, and volunteering.
Below is a list of event ideas that will take place in October and on Election Day:
  • “Say YES to Prop. 115. It’s your choice.” Yard Signs: Available at the Parish Hall
  • Youth Ministry will place white flags in the yard at the Church representing the number of abortions that take place in CO
  • Sanctity of Life meditations every Thursday in October during Adoration.
  • Rosary offered for the sanctity of life
    • Saturdays at 6 pm
    • Sundays at 9:45 am & 1 pm (in Spanish)
  • Ask for the Intercession of St. Francis Cabrini, patron of Proposition 115, on October 5th, St. Francis Cabrini Day
  • Fatima movie showing on October 6th @ 7pm at the Parish Hall (popcorn and soda provided!)
  • November 3rd Prayer Vigil at the St. Peter’s Church at 5 pm
Below are websites and links for you to learn more about Prop. 115 in order to understand our Catholic responsibility to protect the preborn.
