St. Peter’s Religious Education Program
The Religious Education Program at St. Peter’s Catholic Church strives to center its teachings, administrative works, and the education of students toward Christ.
“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you will appear with him in glory.” ~Colossians 3:1-4
St. Peter's Religious Education Mission
The vision of the religious education staff is to assist the parents in fulfilling their baptismal promise on how to teach and be a model for their children in the Holy Roman Catholic Faith. We strive for the devotion, in every child, that seeks mercy, Love, service, and justice for all of God’s people. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it is our vision to see each student discover and embrace the purpose of their lives to express the love of Jesus Christ through actions and words.

Introducing an R.E. Parent Series Night
St. Peter’s Religious Education is starting a Parent Series Night on a monthly basis that is geared toward helping and informing parents about the many struggles that their children might find as they enter into the secularized middle- and high-school setting. As students begin navigating these jungle-like classrooms and struggle with forming authentic relationships, they are often found to turn toward social media, technology, pornography, toxic relationships, depression, etc. These Parent Series Nights are meant to help in becoming the Catholic response to the many untruths that they will hear in Middle- and High-School.
If you are interested in attending this event or are interested in helping out, please contact Madelynn Felix, the Religious Education & Youth Ministry Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
